Swim
School
Swimming lessons
provide important skills to people of all ages. While
increased water safety and survival are important rewards of the
Swim and Survive program, other major benefits include strengthened
social interaction skills, heightened self-esteem and encouragement
of healthy lifestyle patterns.
The Canberra Olympic
Pool Swimschool has a lesson to suit everyone! All ages from 3
years through to adults are catered to, for all abilities from the
nervous beginner and those needing stroke correction through to
advanced endurance squads.
Our lessons follow the
Royal Life Saving Society Swim & Survive Program,
incorporating correct swimming techniques in conjunction with
rescue and survival skills. All of our friendly swimming
instructors are Austswim qualified, and focused on delivering fun
and effective lessons to help each student achieve their potential
in swimming, in a safe and comfortable environment.
Lessons run throughout
the year commencing mid January and finishing mid December. 3
Sessions operate each year, with enrolments for Session 3 open from
the 9th of August 2010. Swimschool lessons run from Monday to
Friday during the afternoons and evenings and on Saturdays and
Sundays during the morning.
Didn't enrol in time?
Don't worry, our flexible programs allow enrolments midway through
